Reconnecting Powerwall to Wi-Fi
Your Powerwall will always attempt to maintain an internet connection. However, it may disconnect from the internet if your Wi-Fi network has changed or if the local cellular network has gone offline. When your Powerwall is completely offline, a ‘Device Offline’ banner will be visible on the home screen, and recent power flow or energy data will not be visible. To configure Wi-Fi, go near your Powerwall and Gateway, and follow this link to Tesla's website where they explain how to reconnect it, as well as other troubleshooting techniques.
With the Tesla app, you can configure the Wi-Fi settings of your Powerwall system. You can also update your network settings if you change your router or update your network connection.
Extended periods without an active internet connection will prevent software updates and may impact the product warranty.
